2009 Raft Race Winners
Participants in the Raft Race are getting more time to build their rafts this year, with the
Watersports and Regatta held a month later than usual.
The annual event will be held on 24 July this year, giving raft builders the time needed to
perfect their designs, ready for the afternoon race from Rousay's Ferry Terminal to Wyre's
and back.
Last year's warm weather made it a fantastic event, with water activities and competitions
held throughout the day.
