Rousay Lap 2010 announced
Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre Development Trust has announced that it will hold the next Rousay
Lap in August.
The Half-Marathon, spanning 13.1 miles, debuted last summer to great success, with a total of
60 entrants choosing to either run, walk or cycle around the island. After the event, the
Development Trust stated its intention to make the Rousay Lap an annual occurance.
With the Lap now scheduled for Saturday 28th August 2010, details on how to enter
will be released in due course. 2009's Lap saw sponsorship and donations go towards the local
Playpark Fund, raising money for a new playpark to be installed at Rousay Primary School.
