Disruption to Ferry Services continues
Tingwall Ferry Terminal --> Temporary Ramp (left)
Disruption to a number of ferry services is to continue until June, while Orkney Ferries
uses the temporary ramp recently constructed at Tingwall.
Repairs to the normal hard ramp are now underway, making it unusable. The temporary ramp,
which was constructed next to it, has been in use since 20 April 2010.
The disruption caused by the repairs at Tingwall is expected to last until early June 2010.
With tidal constraints resulting in 'Passenger Only' services at certain times, Orkney
Ferries has released a special timetable (below).

Repairs to the ramps at Egilsay and Rousay are scheduled to begin at a later date.
