Rousay Lap 2011 Results
The results of the Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre Development Trust's Rousay Lap 2011 are now in.
The annual event, a half-marathon spanning 13.1 miles along a circular route around the island, this year saw 72 participants.
The fastest time overall went to cyclist, Paul Kerr. The 15-year-old completed the Lap in less than 47 minutes, in a simular time to his result last year.
The fastest runner was once again Mitchell Fraser, who took 1 hour and 37 minutes to complete the Lap - just 1 minute and 16 seconds longer than his time last year.
The final category, walkers, was won by Ian Dodd, who was timed at just 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 42 seconds.
