Ranger Service

Description:

To establish a Ranger Service for use on Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre, complimenting the services currently offered by the existing tour providers.

What has happened so far:

• This project is currently being extensively researched, while Community Development Officer, Christina Cox prepares a business case, to determine the viability of offering such a service on our islands, with a view to beginning the service for the summer 2012 season, as part of the proposed development of a tourism strategy by the Trust.

What happens next:

• This project can progress when and if it is deemed a viable project for the Trust to undertake, and subject to funding.
